Susie has been a recognized leader in the life insurance brokerage industry for over 28 years. She started her career on the worksite marketing side of the business in 1988. In December 1996, when the Transamerica New Orleans branch office closed, Bill Hancock hired Susie to work with him in building what is now, Hancock Brokerage. In 2000, Susan bought out Bill Hancock. Hancock Brokerage is an equity partner in a national marketing organization called AIMCOR. This partnership enhances our long standing and strong carrier relationships and allows us to negotiate underwriting offers and strategize about product solutions.
Susan’s dedication and passion for this industry is unwavering. Susie is a LILI Graduate, a member of NAIFA Greater New Orleans, the New Orleans Estate Planning Council and New Orleans TOP 20. She is Series 6 licensed with the Leaders Group. She resides in Metairie, Louisiana with her husband and six children.
Case Design Specialist
Denise has over 30 years of experience in Advanced Life insurance case design. She works closely with all the life insurance company marketing departments to make sure that she is bringing our producers the latest and most competitive products. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail and wealth of knowledge make her a huge resource to Hancock Brokerage producers. Denise loves traveling, spending time with family and trips to the Gulf Coast! She resides in Mandeville, LA with her husband.
Scott Steed comes to you with 17 + years of experience in the financial services industry. Scott was a retail financial advisor and retirement planning specialist with a major investment firm before setting his sights on the explosive area of fixed and index annuity marketing. His unique perspective of having “been in the shoes” of the financial professional, coupled with his expertise and knowledge of virtually all financial products makes him a valuable partner and resource for producers and their clients. Scott ‘s passion lies in helping others see the value in fixed and index annuities. Mary has been with Hancock Brokerage for over 18 years. She works diligently to get producers appointed with carriers in a timely manner. She makes sure you are paid and paid fast! She works to get our producers appointed on our SURE LC platform. When you need help with out of state appointments, she is your resource. When Mary is not at the office, she is teaching dance class or playing with her grandson. Mary resides in Metairie, LA with her husband.
New Business Case Manager
Ashley joined Hancock Brokerage in 2007. She handles new business cases that stream in daily. She works tirelessly pushing underwriters to review files, match requirements and pay cases! Ashley does not push paper; Ashley makes sure that your client is getting the best offer. If your client comes back with a rating, she goes back to the case design team to see if there is a better offer out there for your client. Our company motto is to find the best solution for your client. She lives it every day.
New Business Case Manager
Cindy has re-joined Hancock Brokerage as one of our New Business Case Managers. She has over twenty years in the life insurance industry, covering all aspects of the sale. Cindy excels working directly with advisors, assisting them with case development, illustrations, point of sale, marketing and underwriting. She strives to make your experience with Hancock Brokerage Life as efficient and transparent as possible, with a personable approach to a very meticulous business. Cindy has made many great acquaintances during these years and is happy to see old faces, as well as new ones. Her home is in Metairie, but she spends most weekends on the Gulf Coast. Cindy is most proud of her two very special grandchildren, now back in Louisiana, and sees them as often as possible.
Internal Marketing Support
Lauren joined Hancock Brokerage in February 2017 as our Internal Marketing Support. She manages our website, social media campaigns and carrier meetings like a champ. Our producers can count on Lauren to acquire the most current and productive marketing materials our carriers have to offer. Webinars and meetings are handled with care and top notch service. Her background is in television and film production, where she handled the details of commercial shoots and internal marketing videos for over 20 years.
Customer Service / Underwriting Support
Denise joined Hancock Brokerage in March 2015. Her attention to detail makes her a true asset in handling your client’s ownership and beneficiary changes and policy review support. She also supports the new business team in an effort to facilitate the underwriting process along with assisting our Annuity Division President in the entire annuity process.
